Abstract

The article deals with general methodological problems of studying I.A. Bunin at the university, since his works are distinguished by a special structuring of the text: unevenness and condensation of semantics within the framework of the deployment of the subject-psychological world of works, which is revealed at various levels. The pedagogical problem of interpretation of a work of art is revealed. The authors propose a scheme for analyzing works: the primary level of the content of the text, the level of understanding of reality, the understanding of ideas. I. Bunin is characterized by a sense of the antinomy of the world: life is terrible and beautiful at the same time, the mystery of the world is associated with the mystery of the uniqueness of human feelings. Love, according to I. Bunin, is able to restore unity between a person and the truth that he is so looking for. The article deals with the stylistic features of I. Bunin's stories from the point of view of the antinomy of his ideas and characters. This is determined by the special organization of the text, which has a multi-level disclosure through the subject-psychological description of the world. The authors conclude that the true understanding and interpretation of the text of I. Bunin's works is based on the multi-level and multi-layered structure of the text itself, since his works are distinguished by the concentration of semantics in the subject-event plan, when there is a departure from the dynamics of the plot in favor of the intensity of the emotional line.
